We were contacted by a reputable FM provider following a power surge to the Daily Telegraph HQ.
Initial investigations following emergency call out revealed that the surge affected sensitive components across the buildings lighting infrastructure. The impact of this was business critical as lux levels across the building dropped below sufficient levels for working. This also presented a high level of safety risks across the site. Our hard services team responded immediately with out of hours working and was tasked with sourcing the specialist parts required to rectify the faults in each fitting. Works required on site soldering of sensitive parts.
With quick and careful planning we were able to keep the business premises operational by focusing on key areas and adhering to a strict program of works.
