From an FM perspective, universities, colleges, schools and other educational institutions have specific and very different operational needs. Q3 operates a number of education sector contracts in the UK, and we understand the need for flexibility when managing classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports facilities, and recreational areas.

Q3 has the experience to cater for these diverse spaces and ensure they are properly maintained, cleaned, and equipped to support effective teaching and learning. Key to our approach is that we never lose focus on the overarching need to deliver a quality student experience. FM is more about caring for people as it is about caring for buildings and surroundings, so creating clean, comfortable environments for students that are conducive to wellbeing and learning is fundamental to our thinking.

We plan our maintenance activities and service schedules to take account of academic calendar considerations, so classes, exams, vacations, and events are managed smoothly without disruption to teaching and learning activities.

And, understanding the budgetary constraints that many clients face, we will work with administrators to prioritise maintenance activities and allocate resources efficiently, to balance cost-effectiveness with high standards.
