Providing FM to properties in Housing Association (HA) portfolios is very different because we have to satisfy the demands and needs of the residents, whilst also fulfilling our contractual obligations to the Housing Association – and sometimes, these demands and needs may not be compatible.
The wide variety of housing stock under housing association control and its quality, also means they may have widely different maintenance and service requirements, necessitating a flexible and adaptable approach to our service package.
Our philosophy is to build our service around a residents-centric approach. We focus on providing quality living spaces for the HA’s residents, prioritising resident satisfaction and wellbeing. This involves maintaining communal areas to a quality standard, responding promptly to repair requests, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and security.
We make it our business to get directly involved with the residents too, working (sometimes as part of social value volunteering schemes) on community projects such as vegetable gardens and orchards, or creating play areas and recreation spaces.
Q3 also has the resource and skillsets for upgrade and retrofit projects, fabric repair, minor works and painting.
